Many a time your body warns with early signs that can reveal a lot about your irregular health. Body sweat, tongue, fingernails, & frequent changes in weight help in decoding your overall health.

So once you come to know about the symptoms, it’s a good idea to visit your physician for a proper diagnosis, checking your overall health can make the big difference in life.

Sometimes it can develop even without warning. But, for the majority of severe diseases, there are early warning signs. The earlier you detect the disease, the better the chances of survival.

Here are Few Warning signs:

Rapid Weight loss: Unexplained weight loss i.e. more than 5 kgs without any exercise or diet is one of the prime symptoms of the serious disease. Many of the time weight loss could be the symptom of diabetes, hyperthyroidism, pancreatic, stomach, or lung cancer, and mental illness.

A rapid increase or decrease in weight is also due to poorly functioning thyroid gland, which slows down the entire body. So, never ignore these kinds of symptoms.

Snoring: Snoring is a symptom of Sleep Apnea, a disorder associated with increased risk of cardiovascular disease & stroke. A study reveals that snoring is linked with thickening of carotid arteries in the neck, which makes restricted oxygen flow to your heart and brain that can increase the risk of stroke and heart attack. So, if you are a long time snorer, consult the doctor and get treatment for your snoring.

Brittle, Thin, Or Lifted Nails: Breaking a nail at the slightest touch, brittle & very sensitive nails could be the symptom of thyroid. This gland in your neck regulates metabolism, energy, and growth, and often leads to hair loss, brittle and thin nails. So it is necessary to consult the doctor once you find the warning signs.

Skin Changes & Tumors: Skin problems & changes in skin texture are most often linked to skin cancer, slower metabolism problems & reduced sweating which make a dry itchy skin. Other skin problems include changes in moles or warts size & texture results in dark spots (hyperpigmentation) may also indicate other forms of cancer. For instance, white spots in the mouth are may be the symptom of oral cancer. Lumps or tumors, for breast cancer. These symptoms are also because of change in thyroid hormones.

A persistent Cough: a Cough can occur for a number of reasons such as colds, allergies, and for the flu. If it’s longtime frequent cough then it’s the symptom of lung cancer or thyroid cancer. As the disease progresses, you may even cough up blood.

Fever or Blood Loss: Fever is the body’s response to any infection or illness. Frequent fever with muscle pain is a prime symptom for the people who will have blood cancer or leukemia & it is a sign that the cancer is affecting the immune system.

The other type of cancers may also cause unusual bleeding. For instance, colon or rectal cancer might cause bloody stools, while blood in the urine may be a sign of prostate or bladder cancer. So it’s very important to report such symptoms or any unusual discharge to your doctor for analysis.

Crushing Chest Pain Nausea, and Sweating: This is one of the prime symptoms of a heart attack. Sometime symptoms may vary between men & women. Also, keep in mind, that daily sweat during exercise is normal, of course, but suddenly breaking out in sweat could be a sign of heart attack or something serious and should be followed up with a doctor’s visit.

Irregular Digestion: Everyone experiences irregularity in their bowels occasionally, however, if it persists more than the regular, this is not something to ignore.

Severe Abdominal Pain: If you feel severe pain on the right side of your abdomen, for no reason and you are also a bit nauseated, then it may be a symptom of appendicitis. Severe and relentless abdominal pain should never be ignored because there are several organs such as stomach, intestines; liver, uterus (women), gallbladder and appendix are located in the abdominal area. If you feel severe pain then should consult your physician immediately.

Thinning Hair in Women: Losing some hair is normal, because of climatic conditions. But abnormal thinning of hair in women can be a sign of a serious medical condition such as thyroid disease, other autoimmune conditions, nutritional deficiency or hormonal imbalance.

Damaged Enamel: If you find your molars are getting damaged and it is untreated, it could cause further damage to your teeth and even increase the risk of esophageal cancer.

Increased Visits to the Bathroom: If you find yourself going to the bathroom too often and feeling thirsty, then you should get yourself checked out immediately because this is the symptom of Type-2 diabetes. In this type of diabetes, your body tries to flush down the sugar level in the form of urine… If you leave this unchecked, it progressively worsens the situation.

Changes in Bowel Movements: Bowel habits can vary from person to person. Mainly there are more than 30 conditions associated with bowel movements. That includes diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome and many more. And if you notice any difference in the appearance of your stools or in the frequency of your bowel movements over a period of time, consult a physician immediately.
